Spoilerrrsss

But yeah. That was pretty awesome.

When _____ was shot I shouted in shock and ended up having a massive coughing and choking fit :D

I wish they’d give Alisha more to do than be a girlfriend/love interest.

Kelly and Curtis are BAMFs.

(I preferred it to Let’s Kill Hitler, guessed I would. That headbutt was glorious.)

I think I finally figured out this whole fandom secret code thing. Apparently black men are boring and black women are bitches. Any other characters are heroic and/or complicated, and every “normal” fan was born color blind, except ones like me walking around shuffling a deck of race cards.

Oh, but think of all the pretty white men having gay subtext together!

I reblog because it’s (sad and) true.

But girl, don’t you know the black woman is supposed to be STRONG and do it all BY HERSELF!

Fandom be BLOWIN me with that shit, and the fucked up explanations they give for their ridiculous assertions be havin me like

Witchsistah hit it on the head earlier. No one wants to be in our shoes & they can’t risk us getting away from that position of mostly silent mule who gives good advice, but never seems to have a life of her own. Because if we start being shown as real people with real feelings, as someone to cherish & protect, & fight for? They just might have to share the stage of being human & worthwhile & loved. And if they are not the pinnacle of desirability then a whole lot of privileges they enjoy right now will go away. Or at least that’s what they think will happen & they’d much rather see us presented as whipping girls than as princesses, because in their head someone has to be whipped & it had better not be them.

You ain’t never lied. There’s a REASON why Charlotte was made a “Princess” in PatF, and why she is getting her own Princess doll despite the fact that she is NOT the OFFICIAL princess of that movie. There is a REASON that Martha Jones was taken to a place where she was a MAID. There is a REASON people are upset over the potential of Mercedes Jones getting with Sam. They don’t want to see a nigger bitch get her time in the light.

Bolded and reblogged for truth.

I’m always trying to make myself more aware of fandom’s racist overtones… I noticed with the commentary on Misfits’ latest episode, people just couldn’t understand why everyone found “Mel” attractive, I mean, that’s so weird. A dark-skinned black girl, she had an attitude, and she wore running gear! And a ~gorgeous white guy tried to rape her? DOES NOT COMPUTE TO FANDOM.

Not to mention people don’t like Curtis. He’s just so unlikeable, apparently. So hostile. He’s so miserable, he doesn’t talk, they just don’t “get” Curtis and why did we have to see HIS cock? Why couldn’t we have seen pretty, white Simon’s?

Fuck’s sake.

(Er, hope it could’ve gone without saying that I feel the complete opposite to what I said above… Curtis is actually my favourite character. And I think the girl playing Mel is absolutely stunning, err, not that that means the rape attempt was justified obviously… oh gawd. *shuffles off, mumbling*)

614. I love how when Curtis was with Nikki, they made it seem as if it was the best sex Nikki ever had. Then all a sudden out of no where he can’t kiss properly and just sucks in bed? pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease..excellent episode, but that bit was poorly done.

Thank you! This pissed me off too!
