I’m always trying to make myself more aware of fandom’s racist overtones… I noticed with the commentary on Misfits’ latest episode, people just couldn’t understand why everyone found “Mel” attractive, I mean, that’s so weird. A dark-skinned black girl, she had an attitude, and she wore running gear! And a ~gorgeous white guy tried to rape her? DOES NOT COMPUTE TO FANDOM.

Not to mention people don’t like Curtis. He’s just so unlikeable, apparently. So hostile. He’s so miserable, he doesn’t talk, they just don’t “get” Curtis and why did we have to see HIS cock? Why couldn’t we have seen pretty, white Simon’s?
