1520. I feel like they made Simon into Superhoodie too soon. There should have been an ongoing story line or something more developed than Alisha being killed by a ghost abruptly. Season 4 would have been a nice place to start with a new villain who wreaks havoc on them until the end when it kills Alisha. I can dream, can’t I?

YES! Here’s how it was gonna go down in my head - although, looking back it is more like a glossy American type arc, and Misfits’ genius lies in its quirk so… I dunno. But anywho.

Alisha wouldn’t have told Simon about his future self in 3 months between S2 and Christmas special. S3 would have seen Alisha struggling to keep the massive secret to herself still, especially when the others are getting more and more angry with superhoodie for no longer bailing them out, not realising he’s actually dead as a dodo. You’d also see her and Simon getting closer for their own sake, as opposed to the “well SuperHoodie told me I need to date you for him to be so good at oral so let’s move in together even though two weeks ago I thought you were a pervert” route the show went down. Alisha’s reveal to Simon (and the others) would have been the climax of the S3 finale, something genuinely dramatic and kinda tragic.

S4 would then have had an antagonist, someone picking off people with powers - I suppose similar to how Sally was a constant threat throughout S1 - and trying to hunt down the gang, culminating in Alisha’s death and Simon deciding to go back at the end of that.

But as you can see, there’s a reason Howard Overman is a sought after television writer, and I’m not… :D

Spoilerrrsss

But yeah. That was pretty awesome.

When _____ was shot I shouted in shock and ended up having a massive coughing and choking fit :D

I wish they’d give Alisha more to do than be a girlfriend/love interest.

Kelly and Curtis are BAMFs.

(I preferred it to Let’s Kill Hitler, guessed I would. That headbutt was glorious.)
